(Two of these discs I sent back this morning, but Netflix hasn't got them yet.) Notice anything funny? Yeah, they're all TV shows right now, at least until we finish The Office. But anything else?
They're all "Disc 3" of each show. What are the odds of that? We didn't plan it like this or anything, either, it just happened. Huh.

That's some weird stuff there. What's Carnivale, anyway? --Amy
It's an HBO show from a few years ago. It's about the employees at a traveling carnival during the 1930s. They travel the Midwest and get into all sorts of crazy adventures.
Not really crazy adventures. It's kind of hard to explain, though. It is very allegorical and has lots of Biblical references, lots of stuff about good vs. evil and all that. In addition to the carnies, there's a Methodist preacher who has his own story; at this point in the series, the two stories haven't come together yet, but I'm sure they will.
The show was made by the guy who went on to make the new "Battlestar Galactica" show (Ronald D. Moore) and it's interesting, though I'm not that far into it yet.
