I just found an Oreo that had one cookie turned around backwards. How am I supposed to see the elaborate embossing the Nabisco people paid so much for?? I am forced to conclude that this is a homemade Oreo.

I think it is a cost cutting measure. They probably use half name brand and half homemade cookies.
Duh, it was just backwards. Happens all the time.
